I wish I could write two reviews, one for the music and one for the publication. The music is very nice; but the way the book is set up, you have to cut it all apart to play the piano and two violins together. Either there should be one piano book and two "folios" for the violins, or the book should be in a 3-ring binder. I actually expected that there would be a separate violin folio. So now I will have one book with half its pages (for piano) and two small binders--which I will have to purchase--for the violins. Not a good way to sell ensemble music. But since I like the arrangements, I'm averaging 1 and 5 stars to get 3.Product details

My Very Best Christmas Violin Edition eBook Karen Khanagov Reviews
I'm always struggling to find a decent intermediate holiday song book and this year I thought maybe the answer to that was duets. This book is good if you need a piano part but the violin parts are just simply harmonies of each other and identical other than notes used.
Our daughter was one of Karėn Khanagov's violin/viola students for over 8 years. She has thoroughly enjoyed using this book for her Christmas performances. She recently played solo for an audience of 240 people using this entire book for the hour long performance. The orchestra, conducted by Karén Khanagov, also uses these musical pieces in their annual Christmas concerts in malls, retirement homes, and at Tinker AFB, Ok. I would highly recommend this purchase.
One of the best cello Christmas books to date have played this one for nearly 20 years!
I bought this for my daughter who is in her 1st year of violin. I've been playing 25 years. It is a great book for all levels for Christmas, for different purposes. I could see myself whipping it out for gigs at Christmas time, but it is also a good book for learning 1st year students. I like that we can play duets together, and that there is a piano part. I only wish the three parts came as separate inserts, rather than being all bound in the same book - it's not convienent for playing together, which is why I gave it just 4 stars.
